I have spent my career traveling what felt like two divergent paths, one in law and emergency management, the other in wellness. Recently, I realized they weren't divergent at all...it just took some time for them to meet. Now, as their intersection comes into view, it couldn't be more obvious...after all what better way can we care for ourselves and others than building resilience and preparing for tomorrow?

Indeed, the word has taken on quite the buzz...so, what does it really mean?
